Cleft Nurse Clinic now held at monthly meet up...
A cleft nurse from the Trent Cleft Lip and Palate Service team will now attend each monthly meet up. The cleft nurse clinic will be held in a private room at the Butler's Hill & Broomhill Road Children's Centre separate to the main meeting room and is available for parents to get babies weighed or ask questions. This is a fantastic addition to the monthly meet ups and we are grateful for the continued support from the Trent Cleft Team.

Ian attended a weekend training course in October 2012 to become a CLAPA parent contact. Ian was very keen to be in a position to help other parents going through what we had experienced and found both the course and meeting other parents who also attended very interesting and informative. Ian can now be found listed under the Trent Region on the CLAPA website.
